FAQ & Contact

How do I select a specific delivery date?

Please select your preferred delivery date from Tuesday to Thursday in the Delviery Calendar before checking out.  It will not allow you to checkout until you’ve chosen a date.

This calendar is mainly designed for fresh flowers to ensure we deliver as close to your required date as possible but must be used for all orders both fresh and dried.

What if my fresh flowers arrive damaged or perished?

We are so sorry to hear this has happened.  We pick your fresh flowers on day of despatch to ensure optimal freshness and wrap them very carefully in bubble wrap and icepacks to ensure they arrive to you safel, however once they leave our farm we are in the hands of the third-party carrier.  We are not responsible for the replacement of your package if it is damaged, perished or is delayed, by any third-party carrier. No replacements or refunds will be provided.

During hot spells of weather, we don’t recommend shipping fresh flowers.  Although we always pray for next day delivery for fresh flowers, Australia Post classifies their Express Post lead-times as up to 3-4 days to QLD, SA and WA, which is too long for ice packs to stay cold in transit.

For any further enquiries about our shipment details please contact info@petiteingredient.com.au

Can I pick up from the farm directly?

Please email us info@petiteingredient.com.au or phone us on 1300 702 605 to discuss a time to collect your order from the farm.  You’ll need to place the order online first.

Do you offer trade pricing for chefs and industry professionals?

Yes we do!  Please contact us directly at info@petiteingredient.com.au to setup your trade account.  You’ll need to be a business with ABN and trade references.

Something displaying as Not In Season?

Fresh edible flowers that are out of season and not in stock will display as ‘Not In Season’.  Check their peak season on the product page for info on when they’ll be available.

How do I store my fresh edible flowers?

To preserve freshness we recommend keeping Petite Ingredient fresh edible flowers refrigerated at all times, ideally between 4-6c. We don’t recommend washing delicate and soft varieties as it may bruise the petals, so simply brush gently to prepare.

How long will my fresh edible flowers last?

Depending on variety and season Petite Ingredient fresh edible flowers should last between 5-21 days, most commonly 10 days throughout the year. Some varieties such as marigolds will last 21 days in ideal conditions. For more precise information on your preferred flower please get in touch.

How long will my dried edible flowers last?

Petite Ingredient dried edible flowers remain vibrant and perfect for eating for up to 2 years. Please store in a cool dry place in a sealed jar for optimum conditions. It is important to keep out of direct sunlight to maintain vibrancy of colour.
