Why has my order not arrived?
Petite Ingredient use StarTrack Air Freight Express as our preferred carrier.  Extended COVID-19 restrictions in various states are impacting some of StarTrack's delivery operations, including air freight capacity. Delays may be experienced as a result.

What are your operating hours?

We are open Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 4.00pm Saturday – 8am to 1.00pm

Opening hours will change in the low season (winter)

How do I store my fresh edible flowers?

To preserve freshness we recommend keeping Petite Ingredient fresh edible flowers refrigerated at all times, ideally between 4-6c. We don't recommend washing delicate and soft varieties as it may bruise the petals, so simply brush gently to prepare.

How long will my fresh edible flowers last?

Depending on variety and season Petite Ingredient fresh edible flowers should last between 5-21 days, most commonly 10 days throughout the year. Some varieties such as marigolds will last 21 days in ideal conditions. For more precise information on your preferred flower please get in touch.

How long will my dried edible flowers last?

Petite Ingredient dried edible flowers remain vibrant and perfect for eating for up to 2 years. Please store in a cool dry place in a sealed jar for optimum conditions. It is important to keep out of direct sunlight to maintain vibrancy of colour.

What will delivery cost?

Free shipping for orders over $100.

Orders under $100 will be charged flat rate of $15.00. 

How are products packaged?

Fresh Edible Flowers:
Petite Ingredient fresh edible flowers are packaged in punnets, well protected and surrounded by a cold pack. This ensures your flowers remain protected and fresh while travelling to you. We recommend refrigerating immediately upon delivery.

Preserved Petals:
Petite Ingredient Preserved Petals products are all well sealed in jars, carefully wrapped and boxed before sending to you.

How can I use my Petite Ingredient edible flowers in cooking?

Petite Ingredient edible flowers can be used as decoration or as the star of a huge range of sweet and savory dishes. Our Recipes Page includes downloadable PDFs of chef created recipes. Also check out our instagram page for examples of how our customers are using Petite Ingredient flowers to make their food look amazing.

How do I know what's in season?

Please refer to our Seasonal Availability Guide. We are always happy to provide suggestions of similar flowers or complementary colours if your favourites are not in season.

What is your minimum order?

We have no minimum order, but delivery charges apply to all orders.

I am a chef or industry professional, how do I order flowers?

Please contact us directly so we can organise direct delivery or put you in touch with our local agents and providores.

Do you ship outside of Australia?

Petite Ingredient Preserved Petals products can be shipped internationally. Simply enter your details at the checkout.

Petite Ingredient Fresh Edible Flowers can be shipped to many international countries via our local agents, please contact us directly with your details.

How do I change my order?

If you need to amend your order please get in touch with us directly as soon as possible.

There are clear instructions on all Fresh Edible Flower Product Pages to read prior to purchasing.  They state that we require five working days notice to prepare your order.  We will also send an email to your immediately upon placement of your order stating advance notice required. 

Failure to read these instructions may result in flowers not being delivered on your desired delivery date, in which case an alternate date for delivery will be offered or a credit note will be issued. 

Fresh Edible Flowers:
As your fresh edible flower order is customised specifically to you changes can be made with plenty of notice. If your order has already been prepared for shipping then it cannot be cancelled.

Preserved Petals:
Orders may be changed if you get in touch with us before the order has been processed. Please contact us as soon as possible as orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.

Is it possible to return the products?

Our products are organic and you may get the odd friendly bug. These are safer in your punnet than the harsh inedible chemicals that would kill them. Simply gently brush off your flowers to prepare for eating.
